Studio 5000 View Designer works in tandem with Studio 5000 Logix Designer® application to simplify your HMI development. One way it accomplishes this is with a highly integrated development environment that allows you to create tags once in your controller, then share that data seamlessly throughout your control system. One key beneficiary of this tight integration is your HMI. Controller data such as tag descriptions, min/max values, and alarms that were defined in your Logix Designer project can be referenced in View Designer without any work on your part.
