MP-Series Servo Motors

Our MP-Series Servo Motors include low inertia, medium inertia, food grade, and stainless steel motors and are developed to accommodate your unique application needs.

Food Grade

The MP-Series Food Grade (MPF) Motors combine high-efficiency, high-torque capability with features specifically designed to meet the unique needs of your food and beverage applications. These compact, low inertia servo motors build on the well established MP-Series segmented stator technology to provide high performance motors which meet the requirements of a variety of applications including food packaging, volumetric filling and form, fill and seal.

Low Inertia

The MP-Series Low Inertia (MPL) Servo Motors are high-output brushless motors which use innovative design characteristics to reduce motor size while delivering significantly higher torque. These compact brushless servo motors are designed to meet the demanding requirements of high performance motion systems. This series of servo motors is typically used with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 2000, Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 7000 and Ultra 3000 servo drive families. These motors are available in nine frame sizes.

Medium Inertia

The MP-Series Medium Inertia (MPM) Servo Motors offer IEC metric mounting dimensions and rotatable DIN connectors that provide flexible connector orientation for ease of cable routing. These motors are optimized for use with Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 6200, and Kinetix 6500 servo drives. The motors feature similar speed and torque performance, feedback devices and rotor inertias, which provide you with a smooth migration path from the legacy motors.

Stainless Steel

The MP-Series Stainless Steel (MPS) Servo Motors are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of hygienic environments. With these servo motors, you gain the benefits of Kinetix Integrated Motion in a greater range of applications, using servo motors even in high pressure, highly caustic washdown environments. The MPS Motor extends the wide range of Allen-Bradley servo motors into new applications on food, beverage, brewing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and health and beauty manufacturing equipment.
